Born and raised in Clayton, Georgia, I proudly call myself a true native — though that definition has certainly broadened over the years. A graduate of Rabun County High School, I began my professional journey working for more than five years at the Rabun County Clerk of Superior Court’s office. There, I managed the recording and indexing of real estate deeds, processed filings for Magistrate, Civil, Criminal, and Juvenile courts, and prepared and transmitted records to the Court of Appeals.
In 2011, I transitioned into restaurant management, serving nearly fifteen years as the General Manager and lead office administrator of a well-established local Italian restaurant. I oversaw daily operations across both the kitchen and front of house, managed a team of over fifteen staff members, coordinated catering events, maintained compliance with licensing and insurance requirements, and helped rebuild the restaurant following a devastating fire — an experience that reinforced my commitment to resilience and community.
Today, I am Co-Owner and CEO of Holistic Mountain Market in Clayton, GA, where my lifelong friend and business partner Nicole and I focus on offering organic, clean, and nourishing products to our customers. Together, we’re guiding the Market through an exciting remodel and expansion into a larger space to better serve our growing community.
In addition, my husband Paul and I recently became Co-Owners of Property Stewards Highlands, a home management and concierge service helping getaway homeowners and luxury rental clients maintain their properties with the same care and attention we’d give our own.
